Design company Letterkenny Manna wins national award for best website

A web and graphics design company from Donegal has won Best Website at the annual Irish Digital Media Awards.

Letterkenny-based creative agency Manna, run by Castlefinn native Tommy Callaghan, has been announced as the winner for their work on the An Grianán Theatre’s new website.

Mr Callaghan, who graduated from Letterkenny Institute of Technology before completing his studies at the Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT) in Dun Laoghaire, said he was very proud to bring home the award national in Donegal, “especially when the winning website is for a Donegal-based business”.

“As an individual team, I’m honored to have Manna mentioned in the same breath as some of these internationally acclaimed agencies and winning the gold medal is truly a special accolade for me, both personally and professionally. “

Manna was also a finalist at the awards ceremony at the Convention Center at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Dublin in the same category for a second website, Retail Ireland Skillet, and beat out strong competition to win the top prize.

In recent years, the company has garnered a number of awards and nominations and was the winner of the Digital Business Ireland Permanent TSB Awards in 2020 and 2021.

Manna provides creative design and digital strategy to a number of businesses and organizations including Donegal County Council, Donegal ETB, Highland Radio, Alcohol Forum Ireland and Retail Ireland Skillnet.

Now in its 19th year, the Digital Media Awards are Ireland’s most prestigious digital awards and reward creativity and innovation in many areas including digital content creation, advertising and marketing, mobile media, social media, app development, web design and development.
